Questions? We have the answers.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us using the contact information at the bottom of the page.

What is it?

An annual fundraising event for the Bismarck Diocese and the Fargo Diocese giving all Catholics in North Dakota an opportunity to support their favorite Catholic organizations and charities over a three-day period.

How does it work?

Anyone can click on the #GiveNDCatholic website link which will show them the different Catholic organizations and charities being highlighted by each diocese. Bishop David D. Kagan and Bishop John T. Folda have selected Catholic organizations and charities they wanted to be highlighted for this year's #GiveNDCatholic event.

When is it?

Our event is being held at the same time as the #GivingTuesday event, which is a 24-hour, global day of online giving held on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

How much money will be raised?

We have no way of knowing. However, once the first $25,000 is raised from the Bismarck Diocese, and matched by their $25,000 matching funds, the matching funds would no longer be available or continue.

Why?

This event helps kick off the charitable season, promotes year-end giving, and brings the North Dakota Catholic Community together

to give thanks for all the blessings God has blessed them with an opportunity to share their blessings with good Catholic organizations and charities.

Organizers of other #GivingTuesday events strongly recommend that participating organizations secure 1:1 matching dollars to help motivate prospective donors. Bishop Kagan has secured $25,000 for the Bismarck Diocese to use as an incentive.

Why should each diocese secure matching dollars?
